Abstract:
This article examines the justifications and challenges associated with spiritual governments through a Jungian lens, particularly focusing on the intersection of psycho-spiritual dynamics and political power. Drawing on historical and contemporary examples, including the role of religious and spiritual figures in governance, the paper explores how spiritual concepts can become politicized and the resultant psycho-spiritual conflicts. By analyzing historical instances such as the use of spiritual symbols by totalitarian regimes and the current political climate in Iran, this study aims to illuminate the complex interplay between spiritual authority and political power, highlighting the inherent risks and psychological battles involved.
