Submission Instructions (Format)

General Guidelines

Thank you for considering submitting your work to the Journal of Iranian International Legal Studies. We welcome submissions from legal scholars, practitioners, and researchers on topics relevant to the extensive fields of legal studies.

Please be aware that our editors will adjust the final format of the manuscripts to comply with the journal’s guidelines.

Manuscript Preparation

  1. Formatting Requirements:
    • Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word or compatible format.
    • Use Times New Roman font, size 12, single-spaced.
    • Include page numbers and line numbers.
  2. Title Page:
    • Include the title of the manuscript, author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), email address(es).
    • A brief biography (50-100 words) for the first author is optional.
  3. Abstract and Keywords:
    • Provide an abstract of 150-250 words summarizing the main arguments and findings of the manuscript.
    • Include 3-5 keywords that describe the subject matter.
  4. Main Text:
    • Organize the manuscript into clear sections: Introduction, Methods (if applicable), Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
    • Use headings and subheadings to clarify the structure.
  5. References:
    • Use the Harvard referencing style (author-date format).
    • Examples:
      • Book: Smith, J. (Year). Title of Book. Publisher.
      • Journal Article: Brown, A. (Year). Title of Article. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), Pages.

Submission Process

  • Submit manuscripts via email to editors@journal.iintbar.org
  • Include “Submission to Journal of Iranian International Legal Studies” in the subject line.
  • Authors will receive an acknowledgment upon receipt of their submission.
  • Submitted manuscripts will undergo a peer-review process.
  • Authors will be notified of the editorial decision (acceptance, revisions required, rejection) in a timely manner.

Copyright and Licensing

  • Authors transfer the copyright of their work to our journal.
  • All articles published in the Journal of Iranian International Legal Studies are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY). For more information, visit Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
