Special Issue: July 2024
Theme: Expanding Horizons in Humanitarian and Legal Studies of The Middle East
The Journal of Iranian International Legal Studies is delighted to announce a call for papers for our upcoming special issue, scheduled for publication in July 2024. We invite scholarly contributions that explore a broad spectrum of topics related to humanitarian and legal studies, with a particular focus on legal and civil rights.
Scope and Topics:
We are seeking high-quality, original research papers, case studies, reviews, and theoretical articles that address, but are not limited to, the following topics:
- International Humanitarian Law
- Human Rights Law and Policy
- Civil Rights and Civil Liberties
- Refugee and Asylum Law
- Humanitarian Aid and Development
- Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding
- Gender, Race, and Social Justice
- Environmental Justice and Law
- Health and Humanitarian Law
- Legal Responses to Humanitarian Crises
- Comparative Legal Studies
- Transitional Justice and Post-Conflict Reconstruction
- Religious Law
Submission Guidelines:
- Manuscript Preparation:
- Manuscripts should be between 5,000 and 8,000 words, including references.
- Include an abstract of no more than 250 words.
- Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, and double-spacing.
- Follow Harvard citation style.
- Submission Process:
- Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word format to editors@journal.iintbar.org
- The subject line should read: “Submission for July 2024 Issue – [Your Name].”
- Provide a separate title page with the author’s name, affiliation, contact information, and a brief biographical note.
- Review Process:
- All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
- Authors will be notified of the review results within eight weeks of submission.
- Important Dates:
- Submission Deadline: July 31, 2024
- Notification of Acceptance: August 15, 2024
- Final Manuscript Due: July 15, 2024
- Publication Date: August 2024
